Take an adrenaline pumped adventure with the moonshine bootleggers of North Carolina as we out run the law on the two rut backroads of Johnston County!
It’s late summer, “the dog days of August” and a load of JOCO’s finest shine needs to be ran to an underground honkytonk. You load up the trunk of a modified Ford Model A Coupe with white lightning in mason jars in wooden crates on an evening with a full moon lighting the southern sky. Guns are cocked & loaded, the engine’s running top notch, and there’s money to be made!
Your spotter gives you the okay because the local law enforcement hasn’t been spotted combing the roads for liquor runners, it’s go time!
You pull out onto the road, give your girl a wink and a grin as the warm summer breeze blows through both of your hair. Lady luck seems to be on your side.
You’re halfway there and then you see headlights coming up fast in your rear view mirror, it’s the county law!
You kill the headlights and hit the gas as you map your escape out in your mind. You take a turn onto a cut through a big tobacco field next to the farm where all the locals buy the sweetest strawberries, blueberries, and honey as you watch the blue lights zip past the tobacco field. Adrenaline is rushing, your fist are tight around the steering wheel as your palms sweat, and anything is possible tonight, but it looks like you may be home free.
You make sure the coast is clear, tear back onto the road to your destination, and another successful delivery is made. You’re the hero of the night, you get paid, and you and your girl hold each other tight before joining the locals for a few sips of that fine Johnston County shine!
2-6 Elixir is a modern fruity amber based boozy tobacco fragrance drenched with honey, spices, and vanilla with a warm woody dry down for women and men.

“Alright review time is here. So today’s review is 2-6 elixir by@cam.byrdover at Carolina fragrance reviews (cfr) Now I am gonna be honest when I saw that cam was putting out a fragrance I was skeptical after still feeling the burn from redbrook parfums underground edition. But when I saw the note breakdown on this I knew I had to try it out, and at 35$ for a 15ml this stuff is a great price value.
So I’m gonna do this different than my other reviews, I want to start this off by telling you that this fragrance here is beastmode. Hands down top five performers out of all my fragrances. I haven’t gotten below ten hours of longevity with mass projection for 3-4 hours. Also on a side note as a member of#teamoversprayersI have never applied more than 8 sprays to get this. Now on to the scent itself (the most important part) so 2-6 elixir opens up with a spicy, sweet, boozy opening. In the opening I’m getting mandarin, pink pepper, rum, with a bit of cinnamon. Now as this starts drying down I am reminded of my great days at AA (guess I did learn something) and our talks of cross addiction as it dries down the rum starts to fade making room for a touch of tobacco helping add depth to the vanilla and dried fruits with honey drizzled all over the top. The dried fruits are the star of the show the rest of the way through the mid giving it a sweet ambery pop to it. As it dries down to the end of its life, possibly the next day depending on when you applied. I get a hint of pink pepper(spices really shine on my skin apparently) with a small touch of tonka bean and a nice sandalwood. So overall do I recommend this, absolutely, I say buy the 15ml when it comes out on august 13th and than buy the full presentation whenever those come out, this stuff is amazing and has joined my list of fragrances for life. I will never not have this in my collection, and I recommend the same to you.
